About Garnstone House
Set in the countryside of Herefordshire, Garnstone House is a very friendly bed and breakfast.
Guests are warmly welcomed to Garnstone House by Dawn and Michael all year round. Surrounded by mature extensive gardens, Garnstone House is very comfortable.
Breakfast comes with delicious organic sausages and local free-range eggs. The scrumptious marmalades and jams are made by Dawn herself. A vegetarian breakfast can be provided by arrangement
The story of Garnstone goes back to the 14th century and there is evidence of a motte and bailey castle nearby. Garnstone Castle, designed by John Nash for Samuel Peploe in 1807, was demolished in 1958.
The history of the present Garnstone House begins in the 1950s. Formerly a Dower house, Dawn and Michael took up residence in the mid 1990s.
